A well-known clinical diagnostic and life sciences company requires the above to successfully deliver the short- and long-term business objectives for the company.
Minimum requirements for the role:
- Must have a strong medical background within the Hospital and or Diagnostics Environment.
- Established Key relationships within this territory beneficial.
- Relevant academic qualifications as well as med tech/nursing background are essential for this role. Flow cytometry experience is advantageous.
- Previous medical experience having worked within the emergency care and/or diagnostic/point of care and in-service is essential.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and PowerPoint).
The successful candidate will be responsible for:- Promoting the diagnostic point of care product portfolio as well as consumables to existing and new customers.
- Calling on all critical care areas of the hospital, primary health care, emergency medical services and pathology services calling on doctors, nurses, procurement and management.
- Setting a sales strategy to meet sales budgets and achieve growth in the designated sales region.
- Solving customer queries and complaints and providing customer with relevant product information.
- Conducting sales and follow-up calls and preparing sales quotations.
- Compiling and submitting relevant reports, forecasts and weekly plans to senior management.
- Planning and facilitating workshops for existing and new possible clients in order to showcase and market services and products.
- Developing and implementing marketing plans for advertising campaigns and launches of new products within product budgets.
