Projects Manager - Intervid Africa - Gauteng

About the Role

Intervid Africa is building the future of intelligent security — AI video analytics, biometric access, T&A, integrated campus intelligence — and we need a Projects Manager sharp enough to land that future safely onto real customer sites, on time, without snags.

This role is not for the candidate with the longest CV. It is for the mind that can walk onto a half-finished installation, read the project state, identify the three things that will go wrong in the next forty-eight hours, and quietly fix them before anyone notices. You will work directly with the National Sales Manager, our technical engineers, and customer stakeholders across the country.

What You'll Do

• Own end-to-end delivery of CCTV, Access Control, T&A, and integrated security projects for major South African enterprises — from technical scope through commissioning and customer sign-off
• Build the plan that gets the job done: schedules, BoQs, resource allocation, snag lists, sign-off documentation
• Coordinate technicians, subcontractors, and our supply chain — and chase what needs chasing without losing relationships
• Run customer comms with calm and clarity, especially when something has gone sideways
• Spot the technical risk on a site before anyone else does, and design the system that prevents it next time
• Feed back to sales, engineering, and management with sharp written and verbal reports — what is working, what is not, what we should be doing differently

Why This Role Matters

Security solutions are only as good as their installation. Our customers — banks, factories, large campuses, logistics operators — judge us on whether the system works on day one and is still working in year five. The Projects Manager is the single person most responsible for that outcome.

We are scaling rapidly across South Africa and into selected African countries.
