Minimum skills and experience required:
- Matric
- At least one-year relevant quality control experience, preferably in the automotive industry
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Reporting on all quality inspections
- Conduct visual inspection
- Report and record non confirming products
- Monitor and manage quarantine area
- Conduct random sampling in accordance with set requirements
- Reporting quality incidents and non-conformances
- Conduct process checks and advise of any defects
- Participate in quality related activities as may be assigned from time to time
- Ensures compliance with Safety and standard work procedures
- Report any unsafe conditions or faulty equipment immediately to the Team Leader/ Supervisor.
- Perform any reasonable activities/duties as may be required
- Always portray a professional image and safeguard the interests of the company at all times.
Technical & Functional Competencies
- Experience with hand tools
- Able to work independently and cross functionally
- Good problem-solving skills and promotes quality mindset
- Experience with safety standards and safety mindset
- Understands the importance of standardised work
- Strong inclination towards achieving production targets
