Quality Inspector

Zyteq Technologies designs and manufacturers commercial fire detection equipment, and other products for a broad range of customers in the medical, aerospace and FMCG sectors. Our business is experiencing positive growth and we are looking to employ a PCB Quality Inspector to work as part of the companies SMT Production Team. Responsibilities will include but not limited to: • Reviewing digital inspection images to verify genuine process defects • Visual inspection of electronic assemblies through optical and digital microscopes to locate process defects • Assist production with general inspection, defect detection and rework Desired Experience & Qualification • Matric (national diploma advantageous) • Computer literate in Microsoft Word and Excel • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a quality inspection environment The ideal candidate will have prior inspection and rework experience, preferably in the electronics industry, although full training will be provided. This is an important role that requires the individual to have exceptional attention to detail abilities while working for extended periods using optical inspection equipment. Candidates should also have excellent eyesight vision, or make use of visual aids that do not affect their ability to inspect product with a magnifier or microscope equipment. Industry standard wage rates and benefits apply, although enhanced rates will be considered dependent on experience.
