Role Summary

The Sales Lead is responsible for leading a team of Sales Agents to achieve daily and weekly driver acquisition targets. The role focuses on coaching agents, monitoring field activities, ensuring quality driver registrations, and reporting team performance to the Sales Supervisor.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise assigned Sales Agents in daily field operations.
  • Ensure the team achieves daily, weekly, and monthly driver registration targets.
  • Assign daily work plans and monitor field activities.
  • Coach, mentor, and motivate Sales Agents to improve performance.
  • Verify that all driver registration documents are complete and accurate before submission.
  • Monitor each agent's productivity and provide regular performance feedback.
  • Conduct daily team briefings and end-of-day performance reviews.
  • Resolve minor operational issues and escalate complex issues to the Sales Supervisor.
  • Maintain accurate records of driver registrations, follow-ups, and activations.
  • Prepare and submit daily performance reports to the Sales Supervisor.
  • Ensure company policies, registration procedures, and quality standards are followed.
  • Support recruitment, onboarding, and training of new Sales Agents when required.

  • Daily and weekly driver registration target achievement.
  • Team productivity and individual agent performance.
  • Driver activation and conversion rate.
  • Registration accuracy and document quality.
  • Timely submission of daily reports.
  • Attendance and field activity compliance.

Reporting Line

Reports To: Sales Supervisor / Team Lead

  • Sales Agents

Requirements

Education

  • Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Management, Logistics, or a related field.

Experience

  • 1–3 years of experience in sales, field operations, customer acquisition, or a similar role.
  • Previous experience leading a small team is an advantage.
  • Experience in the ride-hailing or mobility industry is preferred.

  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to coach and motivate a team.
  • Good problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet targets.
  • High level of accountability and professionalism.

Other Requirements

  • Willingness to work in the field.
  • Familiarity with Addis Ababa road networks is an advantage.
  • Fluency in Amharic is required; English proficiency is preferred. Knowledge of Afaan Oromo is an added advantage.
