Senior Accountant (Newly Qualified SAIPA / SAICA)

We have an amazing opportunity for a Senior Accountant an audit and accounting firm based in Cape Town

 The main purpose of this role is:

-        To manage a varied client portfolio, ensure compliance with accounting standards, and oversee the monthly accounting department while training and mentoring junior staff and SAIPA trainees.

We require a candidate with:

·        Qualifications: Completed SAIPA or SAICA articles (or similar experience).

·        Systems: Xero and CaseWare experience are essential. Proficiency in Sage One, Pastel Partner, and MS 365.

·        Tax Knowledge: Strong, essential knowledge of VAT, Company, and Individual tax.

·        Skills: Experience preparing Annual Financial Statements (IFRS for SMEs) and management accounts; strong communication and supervisory skills.

·        Logistics: Valid driver’s licence and own transport are essential.
