Senior Finance Manager and ERP Consultant

Finance Manager and ERP Consultant in Lusaka LanjiZ Management Consultants, a leading technology services group based in Lusaka, Zambia, is inviting qualified professionals to apply for two key roles within our organisation.

We are seeking experienced candidates for finance manager jobs in Lusaka and a Senior Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Consultant to join our dynamic team on a full-time basis. Finance Manager Role – Strategic Financial Leadership Reporting directly to the CEO, the Finance Manager will play a critical role in providing strategic financial leadership across multiple business entities.

This position demands a strong focus on financial management, regulatory compliance, governance, and driving sustainable growth within the Group. Key Responsibilities for the Finance Manager Lead and oversee the Finance function across the Group, ensuring operational efficiency and effectiveness.

Mentor and manage accounting and finance teams to achieve high-performance results. Develop, implement, and monitor financial strategies, budgets, forecasts, and business plans aligned with corporate objectives.

Prepare comprehensive financial reports including monthly, quarterly, and annual management accounts, Board reports, and statutory financial statements. Ensure compliance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), the Companies Act, tax laws, and other regulatory requirements.

Strengthen internal controls, financial policies, and governance frameworks to protect assets and mitigate risks. Manage cash flow, liquidity, treasury, and working capital to support operational needs.

Monitor payroll, revenue, expenditures, and financial transactions for accuracy and compliance. Drive cost optimisation, expenditure control, and revenue assurance initiatives across all business units.

Collaborate with department heads to provide financial insights and performance analysis. Maintain relationships with banks, auditors, regulators, tax authorities, and other external stakeholders.

Coordinate statutory audits and ensure timely submission of regulatory and financial reports. Support Board and Executive Management with preparation of Board papers and strategic financial reports.

Perform Company Secretarial duties related to Board meetings, governance documentation, and statutory compliance. Finance Manager Qualifications and Experience Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance.

Professional certification such as ACCA, CIMA, or CPA. Membership with the Zambia Institute of Chartered Accountants (ZICA).

Minimum of 10 years’ relevant experience, including at least 3 years in a senior management role. Proven expertise in ERP systems, financial management, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.

Senior ERP Consultant – Implementation and Support The Senior ERP Consultant will be responsible for supporting the implementation, configuration, optimisation, and ongoing support of ERP systems, primarily focusing on Sage 300.

Key Responsibilities for the Senior ERP Consultant Implement and configure Sage 300 ERP modules in accordance with client requirements. Gather and analyse business needs to design effective system solutions.

Conduct system setup, testing, data migration, and provide go-live support. Offer functional and technical support to end users and troubleshoot system issues.

Develop and maintain system documentation, user manuals, and standard operating procedures. Deliver end-user training and facilitate knowledge transfer sessions.

Customize reports, forms, and workflows as required. Work collaboratively with developers on customisations and third-party integrations.

Support system upgrades, patches, and version migrations. Monitor system performance and recommend improvements.

Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with relevant standards. Assist with ERP implementation projects including documentation and progress tracking.

Senior ERP Consultant Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Accounting with IT, or a related discipline. Minimum of 2 years’ relevant experience in ERP implementation or support.
