Senior Sales Engineer

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities within target industries.
  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve revenue growth targets.
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with new and existing clients.
  • Conduct client visits, technical presentations, and solution-based selling.
  • Understand customer operational requirements and provide suitable engineering solutions.
  • Prepare quotations, proposals, and tender submissions.
  • Negotiate contracts and close sales opportunities effectively.
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent after-sales service and support.
  • Collaborate with internal technical and operations teams to ensure successful project execution.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer demands.
  • Maintain accurate sales forecasts and CRM updates.

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree, National Diploma, or BTech in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or related Engineering field AND Marketing and Sales.
  • Minimum 5–8 years’ experience in technical sales or engineering sales.
  • Proven track record in business development and achieving sales targets.
  • Strong customer hunting and lead generation capabilities.
  • Excellent customer relationship management and client retention skills.
  • Ability to understand and present technical solutions to clients.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel.
