Duties / Key Responsibilities

  • Advise and recommend appropriate short-term insurance products
  • Assist clients with quotations, new business, amendments, and renewals
  • Build and maintain strong, professional client relationships
  • Follow up on outstanding documentation and underwriting requirements
  • Liaise with insurers on quotations, underwriting and claims progress
  • Capture and administer policy information accurately (detail matters here)
  • Support clients with claims queries and day-to-day policy servicing
  • Ensure FAIS and regulatory compliance
  • Maintain accurate client files and records

  • Motor insurance
  • Household & contents insurance
  • All-risk cover

Requirements

  • Grade 12 / Matric
  • FAIS compliant
  • Class of Business completed (personal & commercial lines)
  • 1–3 years’ short-term insurance experience
  • RE5 (advantageous)
  • Relevant short-term insurance qualification (advantageous)
  • Fully Bilingual (Afrikaans / English)

  • Confident dealing with multiple insurers and moving parts

Salary

  • The proposed salary for the role is R15k - R20k per month - the final offer will depend on qualifications, experience and skills.
