TotalEnergies Marketing Mauritius Ltd is seeking a dynamic, organized, and detail-oriented Stock Accountant and Tax Support professional to join its Finance Team on a fixed-term basis. Stock accounting
· To ensure the correct daily weighted average price for white and black products. · To prepare plan and coordinate the monthly oil loss committee. · To verify the monthly stock differences established by the Material accountant and adjustment made on SAP. · To adjust as and when required our stock valuation following PPC (petroleum pricing committee) and debit/credit note raised to STC (state trading corporation). · To make return to custom department for bunkering sales and duty-free products. · Responsible for the update of master data for white and black products on SAP. · Responsible for the receipt all STC invoices and its dissemination to all parties concerned. · Send mogas & gasoil quotations to embassies. · To compare at each month, end the physical stock take of white products on our COCO sites with SAP and differences explained and corrected. · To prepare monthly BSARP for stock. · To participate in quarterly stock take. · To act as key user for the MM module and raising ticket whenever required. Taxes · Monthly filing of Vat return to MRA. · Prepare refund for exonerated client to MRA and send quotation to exonerated clients. · Answer to MRA and STC query as and when required. · Exoneration of customers follow up Accounting · To prepare monthly bank reconciliation · Creation of customer master data on SAP (FCC). · Act as the back-up for JV accounting, including end of month closing entries, preparation of JV debit/credit notes and follow-up of payments. · To comply with HSEQ legislation, policies and procedures in place at TotalEnergies Mauritius at all times · Zero tolerance concerning HSEQ non-conformances. · Encourage a proactive safety culture within the organization including the promotion of the Total Golden Rules and STOP CARD usage. · Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in accounting /finance or ACCA Level 2 · Good knowledge of local tax, vat and customs regulations. · At least 3 years’ experience in a similar role as accountant · Good knowledge of SAP. · Strong analytic and MS Excel Skills. · Fluent in English and French. · Be results-oriented, disciplined and well-organised. |
