Team Lead Distribution Centre – Cimas Health Group

Job Summary
Cimas Health Group, driven by its purpose to inspire healthier communities, seeks a highly motivated Team Lead Distribution Centre. This role is pivotal in procuring and distributing approved medical supplies and sundries, and ensuring their distribution at optimal levels across the country to meet business needs and targets, in line with the Cimas Health Group Policies & Procedures.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:
Exploring new alternative sources of supply locally and internationally to increase the supplier base.
Approving and authorising Wholesale purchase orders in line with delegated authority.
Conducting supplier performance evaluation to ensure maximum supplier optimisation.
Participating in the negotiation of prices with Suppliers and procure at competitive market prices.
Following up on suppliers’ payments and delivery of goods in line with service level agreements. Coordinating procurement of products and services in line with the Delegation of
Authority and Tender Guidelines. Developing and updating the sales plan, sales forecast, monthly sales trends and
determines the necessary actions to achieve revenue and acquisition targets.
Ensuring availability of trade stock in the market, and drive sales through the Sales. Officer.
Reviewing and evaluating weekly sales reports and develops interventions.

Key Competencies
Clear verbal and written communication skills, with a capacity to produce accurate.
reports. Ability to analyse and solve work-related problems to achieve the correct outcomes. Ability to interact, negotiate and achieve targets.
Ability to manage, train and develop staff.

Qualifications
Degree in Supply Chain Management or equivalent.
A Procurement/ Supply Chain Management professional qualification will be an added advantage.
At least 2 years’ experience in Medical or Pharmaceutical warehouse.
