Optimi is looking for a motivated and adaptable Retentions Consultant to join our fast-paced Sales division on a temporary basis. The ideal candidate must have strong sales and retention skills, thrive in a high-pressure environment, and be passionate about customer engagement and service excellence.
REQUIREMENTS
- Grade 12
- Sales/Marketing qualification (advantageous)
- Minimum 3 years in a sales-related role
- Proficient in MS Office
- Fluent in English (written and verbal
- Fluent in Afrikaans (advantageous)
DUTIES
- Lead retention campaigns and upsell efforts.
- Professionally manage cancellation requests.
- Build lasting client relationships to enhance loyalty.
- Promote additional services and products to existing clients.
- Convert leads efficiently and meet monthly sales targets.
- Conduct outbound campaigns (fin awaiting, debicheck, etc.).
- Follow sales scripts and maintain quality standards.
- Assist walk-in clients and attend sales events (e.g., expos).
- Manage all call-related tasks efficiently.
- Prioritize and handle work items effectively.
- Maintain adherence to sales schedules.
- Submit accurate reports on sales performance.
- Share insights and suggestions for process improvements.
- Update CRM/sales tools regularly.
- Support colleagues when needed.
- Complete any other tasks or training as assigned.
