Warehouse Manager

Key Responsibilities

Warehouse Operations Management

• Oversee daily warehouse activities including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and dispatch.
• Ensure efficient space utilization and proper stock arrangement
• Monitor workflow and optimize processes for speed and accuracy.

Inventory Control

• Maintain accurate inventory records and stock levels.
• Conduct regular stock counts and reconciliations.
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies, damages, or losses.

Logistics & Distribution

• Coordinate with transport and sales teams to ensure timely delivery of goods.
• Plan and manage dispatch schedules to meet customer demands.
• Ensure proper documentation for all inbound and outbound shipments.

Team Management

• Supervise, train, and motivate warehouse staff.
• Assign duties and monitor performance.
• Enforce discipline, safety, and operational standards.

Health, Safety & Compliance

• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse.
• Implement and enforce company policies and procedures.

Reporting & Documentation

• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly warehouse reports.
• Track KPIs such as stock accuracy, order fulfillment rate, and turnaround time.
• Maintain proper documentation of inventory and logistics activities.

Cost Control & Efficiency

• Monitor warehouse expenses and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Reduce wastage, damages, and inefficiencies.

Key Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
• 3–7 years of experience in warehouse management, preferably in FMCG.
• Strong knowledge of inventory management systems and warehouse operations.
• Good leadership and team management skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and warehouse management systems (WMS).
