Winding Engine Driver

JOB DESCRIPTION – WINDING ENGINE DRIVER Your role will include but not limited to: • Facilitate the safe hoisting of persons, materials and ore, up and down the shaft. • Record conditions of winding engine daily. • Responsible for the safe movement of men and material in a conveyance or ship • Responsible for transmitting and reacting to signals. • Responsible to complete drivers log book daily and to list stoppages and reasons. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS AND EXPERIENCE • Grade 12 Certificate or Relevant Educational Qualifications. • Valid AC & DC Winding Engine drivers Certificate and Onsetter’s Certificate. • Minimum 2 years experience. • Valid Driver Licence. • Basic Computer Literacy skills with the ability to interpret messages on driver’s display screen. • Contract of employment depend on successful medical examination and police clearance.
