Our client, a well-established and growing Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) company based in Centurion, has a position available for an Account Manager!
The Account Manager acts as the single point of contact between clients and internal stakeholders to ensure strong relationships, trust, and client satisfaction. This position plays a critical role in overseeing account performance, profitability, and ensuring that client needs are understood and met efficiently and effectively.
1.
RESPONSIBILITIES- CLIENT GROWTH AND PROFITABILITY
- Drive strategic growth and long-term client success.
- Deepen relationships with key stakeholders and identify new opportunities.
- Take ownership of overall client profitability and performance within the assigned portfolio.
- STAKEHOLDER RELATIONSHIPS & CLIENT SATISFACTION.
- Align internal resources to deliver exceptional client value, retention, and satisfaction.
- Team collaboration to advise and design solutions that meet client objectives.
- Provide data-driven insights and recommendations that enhance client outcomes.
- Provide professional advice to clients based on best practices and legislative regulations.
- CONTRACT MANAGEMENT
- Full understanding of the terms and conditions within client contracts to manage product expectations, payment terms, and other contractual related matters.
- To manage the financial aspects of the client account to ensure invoices are accurate and paid within the contractual terms and conditions.
- CLIENT ACCOUNT MANAGEMENT
- Comprehensive system knowledge and understanding to provide system and/or specific functionality demonstrations.
- Complete monthly client billing and reconciliations accurately and timeously and ensure an 80% monthly billable rate on own time spent.
- Ensure CRM activities are completed accurately and within the set time periods.
- SUPPORT FUNCTION
- Provide accurate and timely daily support to clients.
- Direct involvement in projects from start to end to ensure support can be provided during and after the project.
- Provide system and functionality testing where required.
- Provide system and functionality training where required.

REQUIREMENTS- Bachelor’s degree in HR/Business Management or equivalent.
- Minimum of 10+ years in account management, preferably in the HR and Payroll Industry.
- Proven ability to manage complex, multi-stakeholder engagements involving senior executives.
- Valid driver’s license with own vehicle.
- The position will require travelling and occasional overnight stays.
3. KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS- Strong communication, presentation, and facilitation abilities (oral and written).
- Ability to listen actively to accurately interpret information and effectively communicate or transfer these insights to others.
- Ability to manage deadline pressure and change.
- Great problem-solving skills and being able to deal with high-pressure situations without getting emotionally involved.
- Ability to work well with people within multi-dimensional teams.
- Good understanding of project management methodologies.
- Comprehensive understanding of the full employee life cycle.
- Experience in using Microsoft Office.
