Responsibilities:
Sponsorships, Partnerships & CSR Programmes
- Being a primary contact between sponsorship agencies and sponsored teams or collaborations
- Managing the relationship between sponsor partners and auxiliary agencies. Ensuring that admin is up to date and available for management
- Monitoring and measuring sponsorships & CSR programmes. Ensuring that all collaborations produce the content and/or coverage that was promised
- Develop strategies and plans to leverage each sponsorship, alongside Head of Marketing and PR with input from the Head of Digital and Dealer Marketing
- The successful candidate will be expected to make decisions and liaise with the management teams of the teams we sponsor, alongside the Head of Marketing and PR
- Creating reports to show the sponsorship efficacy to management. Monitoring coverage generated from our efforts with media and marketing fleet as well as those generated from collaborations
- Developing reports regarding CSR activities annually
- Identifying potential sponsorships / collaborations / partnerships and evaluating the same
- Identifying the best channels for leverage, alongside Heads
- Managing the admin assistant regarding cars given away through competitions and collaborations and creating a system to manage this. Liaising with the dealer, the winner, the social team to ensure the news is shared appropriately
- Assist with fleet management in terms of VIK (value in kind)
- Assist with distribution of tickets for events to management, dealers, and colleagues
Administration- Maintaining email account and interacting with people daily
- Creating ringis alongside the admin assistant
- Processing invoices alongside the admin assistant
Media & Marketing Fleet- Assisting with managing vehicles in the Marketing fleet, including those allocated to Brand Ambassadors
- Assisting with managing the fleet to accommodate requests for marketing initiatives, influencers, sponsorships, and events
- Working closely with our supplier to Influencers / Brand Ambassadors
- Assisting with managing and directing the output of the media fleet driver, which includes
- Ordering cars
- Scheduling Services
- Filing indemnity forms
- Preparing fuel card claims
- General maintenance
- Ordering parts
- General maintenance of fleet
Requirements:- Relevant Sales & Marketing qualification or studying towards one
- A minimum of two years Marketing or PR experience gained with a motor distributor, dealership or OEM
- Experience in collaborations and sponsorships will be advantageous
- Must be au fait with sports and have a general understanding of scoring and how the game works in at least rugby, soccer, netball, and cricket
- Sound business acumen – good general business skills
- Effective communication skills
- Good decision-making skills
- Effective presentation skills
- Good leadership skills
- The ability to work in cross-functional teams
- High level of computer literacy essential
- Sound understanding of information systems (IT) as a business enabler
- Ability to establish new systems, policies and procedures
- Basic legal knowledge
- Motor Industry experience Essential!
