Job Summary

  • The Business Development Executive is responsible for identifying new business opportunities, securing contracts, and growing the company’s client base across construction, marine, and oil & gas sectors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in target sectors
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients, contractors, and industry stakeholders
  • Prepare proposals, tenders, and bids for projects
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis
  • Support contract negotiation and closing deals
  • Achieve monthly and annual revenue targets
  • Collaborate with operations teams to ensure project delivery aligns with client expectations
  • Maintain a strong pipeline of prospects and opportunities

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Engineering, or related fields
  • 3–6 years’ experience in business development preferably in oil & gas or construction
  • Experience in tendering and contract acquisition
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Knowledge of the local Port Harcourt market
