The Business Development Manager is responsible for driving revenue growth, securing new business opportunities, expanding client relationships, and increasing market presence for the company. The role focuses on identifying and converting prospects into qualified clients.
- Develop and implement comprehensive business development strategies aligned with the company's growth objectives.
- Identify new market opportunities within commercial, corporate, institutional, retail sector etc
- Build strategic partnerships with developers, corporate organizations, consultants, project management firms, and real estate stakeholders.
- Lead initiatives that increase market share and strengthen the company's competitive position
- Drive achievement of annual and quarterly revenue targets.
- Develop and manage a robust pipeline of prospective projects and clients.
- Identify and pursue high-value opportunities for architectural design, workspace consultancy, interior fit-out, and construction-related services.
- Lead negotiations and close major contracts.
- Ensure profitable project acquisition and sustainable revenue growth.
- Monitor sales performance metrics and implement corrective actions when necessary
- Lead the preparation of complex proposals, tenders, and presentations.
- Monitor industry trends, workplace transformation initiatives. .
- Analyze competitor activities, market dynamics, and client requirements.
- Provide strategic insights and recommendations to executive management.
- Identify emerging business opportunities and service innovations.
Requirement
Bachelor's Degree in:
- Business Administration, Marketing, Economics
- Master's Degree in Business Administration MBA, Marketing, Economics, or related field.
- Professional certifications in Business Development, Sales Leadership, Project Management, or Strategic Management.
Experience
- Minimum of 10 years' experience in business development, sales or client relationship management.
- At least 5 years in a senior business development or leadership role.
- Demonstrated success in securing high-value projects within architecture, interior design, workspace design, construction, real estate, or related industries.
- Proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding revenue targets.
- Experience managing corporate and institutional client accounts.
