Civil Engineer *±1 year experience *EXCELLENT OPPORTUNITY* Qualification & Registration as a Professional Engineer (Pr. Eng.) or Pr (Tech) Eng with ECSA Location: Pretoria, South Africa Salary: R400K – R600K CTC per annum *Depending on experience/qualification/skills) Purpose: Civil engineer to be trained in a Structural Steel environment. Company established in 1966 has a excellent career growth opportunity for a Civil Engineer who will in future be responsible for the structural design, verification, and approval of lattice towers, monopoles, lighting masts, and associated foundations. You will lead design projects, ensure compliance with standards, and contribute to new product development. Key Responsibilities: Professional sign-off on tower and foundation designs, as-built documentation, and appointment forms Lead design projects from concept to completion Mentor and train junior engineers Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and standards Perform structural design and verification of various masts and towers Develop and improve in-house design programs and tools Required Qualifications & Experience: Bachelor of Engineering (BEng / BSc Eng or B-Tech) in Civil Engineering Registration as a Professional Engineer (Pr. Eng.) or Pr (Tech) Eng with ECSA 1+ years relevant structural/product design experience will be advantage as well as proficiency in structural analysis software, CAD/drafting tools Knowledge of SANS, SABS, and international structural standards ?
