Engineering TechnicianWhiteriver, MpumalangaMarket related salary A leading company within the mining equipment and automation industry is seeking a skilled and driven Engineering Technician to join their dynamic engineering team.
Minimum requirements:
- Matric
- BTech / National Diploma / Degree in Mechatronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Automation, or a related field
- 3 - 5 Years’ relevant experience in manufacturing, automation, mining, or heavy industry
- Strong knowledge of automation and control systems
- Experience with PLC/controller programming and troubleshooting
- Knowledge of sensors, actuators, drives, and embedded systems
- CAD experience such as SolidWorks, Inventor, or similar software
- Basic programming knowledge (C++, Python, or similar) will be advantageous
- Strong fault-finding and analytical problem-solving skills
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
- Valid driver’s licence will be advantageous
