Employment Information

Responsibilities:
  • Maintain accurate accounting records and financial statements.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual management accounts.
  • Monitor cash flow, liquidity, and treasury activities.
  • Reconcile bank accounts and loan portfolio records.
  • Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial plans.
  • Monitor branch income, expenses, and profitability.
  • Ensure proper accounting treatment of loan disbursements, repayments, provisions, and write-offs.
  • Prepare weekly and monthly financial performance reports for management.
  • Coordinate statutory remittances, including PAYE, pension and Taxes.
  • Liaise with auditors, regulators, financial institutions, and funding partners.
  • Establish and maintain internal financial controls and processes.
  • Monitor operational expenses and recommend cost-saving initiatives.
  • Supervise accounting staff and ensure compliance with company policies.
  • Support management with financial analysis and strategic decision-making.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree or HND in accounting, finance, economics, or a related discipline.
  • A professional qualification such as ACA, ACCA, or equivalent will be an added advantage.
  • Minimum of 3–5 years relevant experience in finance, accounting, microfinance, lending, fintech, or financial services.
  • Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, treasury management, and internal controls.
  • Candidate with close proximity to Satellite

Location: Satellite Town, Lagos

Remuneration: NGN 150,000 - 200,000
