Head: Asset-backed RecoveriesSandtonR1 200 000 per annum
A senior leadership opportunity for an experienced recoveries and legal collections professional to take ownership of a high-volume, asset-backed recovery function within a complex, performance-driven environment.
Minimum requirements:
- Degree in Commerce, Economics or Law (postgraduate advantageous)
- Minimum 7 years’ experience, with at least 5 years in senior legal collections management
- Strong commercial and strategic leadership skills
- Experience in high-volume recoveries and legal environments
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and drive performance
- Define and drive recovery strategies across portfolios
- Oversee call centre collections and legal escalation decisions
- Manage end-to-end legal recovery processes
- Optimise asset recovery (movable and immovable)
- Manage external attorney firms and performance
- Drive ROI, cost-to-collect, and overall recovery performance
- Ensure strong governance, compliance, and stakeholder alignment
