Infrastructure Surveyor Jobs in M-fez New Kasama Sunda International is currently recruiting for experienced professionals to fill the position of Infrastructure Surveyor for a significant infrastructure development project based in M-fez New Kasama, Zambia.

Position Overview:
Infrastructure Surveyor The Infrastructure Surveyor will play a critical role in ensuring that all on-site surveying activities are executed with precision and in strict compliance with project drawings and specifications.
This hands-on role involves setting out, measuring, and leveling tasks to provide accurate physical layouts and reliable survey data that support the construction team throughout the project lifecycle. Key Responsibilities for Infrastructure Surveyor Jobs in M-fez New Kasama Set out construction works on-site in accordance with detailed drawings and project specifications.
Measure and accurately lay out structures, alignments, and levels. Establish and maintain control points and benchmarks to ensure consistent reference throughout the site.
Operate and maintain surveying instruments such as Total Stations, Levels, and Infrared Levels, ensuring proper calibration and functionality. Interpret construction drawings accurately to support precise site layout.
Calculate elevations and assess level differences directly on-site. Verify measurements and deliver dependable survey data to the engineering team.
Maintain comprehensive and clear survey notes and records for project documentation. Collaborate closely with Site Engineers, Foremen, and construction teams to provide timely and accurate survey information.
Report any inconsistencies between site conditions and drawings promptly to supervisors. Comply with all Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) policies on site.
Qualifications and Experience Required Degree or Diploma in Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a closely related discipline. Minimum of three years’ proven experience as a Surveyor on infrastructure or construction projects.
Proficiency in using Total Station, Level, and Infrared Level surveying equipment. Strong ability to read and interpret construction drawings accurately.
Demonstrated skill in precise measurement and layout of works on-site. Competence in calculating elevations and measuring level differences with accuracy.
Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to accuracy. Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams.
