Primary Objective:
To support the planning, monitoring, and management of inventory levels by handling daily inventory administration, data updates, and analysis to ensure optimal stock availability.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with daily inventory updates, stock tracking, and reporting.
Prepare and maintain accurate records of stock movements, variances, and replenishment requirements.
Support the Senior Inventory Planner with forecasting activities and demand planning.
Update and maintain Excel-based inventory models with accurate and timely data.
Assist in preparing inventory reports, including backorder and slow-moving stock analyses.
Help prepare Purchase Orders (POs) and ensure correct documentation is completed and filed.
Monitor stock levels and highlight risks such as shortages or overstocking.
Collaborate with Distribution Centres (DCs) to obtain accurate inventory and movement data.
Assist with Material Requirements Planning (MRP).
Maintain and update relevant Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Complete all required inventory reports within specified deadlines.
Support monthly and quarterly inventory reviews and cycle counts.
Perform ad hoc duties as required by management.
Quarterly Tasks:
Assist with updating standard costing on Sage for the new quarter.
Support preparation of Product Supply Input File.
Support preparation of Country Input File.
Support preparation of Literature Product Supply Input File.
Critical Success Area:
Strong understanding of inventory planning and the Product Supply workflow.
Ability to maintain high accuracy and consistency in data management.
