As a leading supplier of earthmoving, materials handling, and power systems equipment in Southern Africa, Barloworld Equipment is the appointed Caterpillar dealer serving diverse industries such as mining, construction, agriculture, and energy.
About the Role – Parts Salesperson Opportunities in Zambia The Parts Salesperson will play a vital role in driving aftermarket revenue growth by selling genuine machinery parts and components. This position requires managing customer accounts and delivering fast, accurate solutions to reduce equipment downtime for clients.
The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting customers in identifying the correct parts, processing orders efficiently, and maintaining excellent communication regarding order statuses. Key Responsibilities Assist customers in identifying correct parts using SIS 2.0 Create and follow up on quotes with customers Process and maintain parts orders efficiently Provide timely feedback on backorder status to customers Plan and release parts using CRM systems Utilize SAP (ERP) system knowledge – a mandatory requirement Understand and apply Hydraulic Information System (HIS) knowledge Create shopping carts and quotations through the online PCC system Minimum Qualifications and Experience Full Grade 12 certificate with good grades Diploma or Certificate in Supply Chain Management or equivalent Paid-up membership to the Zambia Institute of Purchasing and Supply (ZIPS) Technical qualifications are an advantage Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems 2 to 5 years’ experience in a parts warehouse environment Clean driver’s license Ability to handle heavy loads and operate lifting equipment Core Competencies Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Customer service orientation with excellent communication and interpersonal skills Mechanical understanding and basic business financial acumen Ability to effectively diffuse difficult situations and provide practical options How to Apply for Parts Salesperson Jobs in Zambia Qualified candidates are invited to submit their applications by email to Jxxxxx@barloworld-equipment.com.
