Pre-Owned Car Sales Manager - Mpumalanga, Witbank

Responsibilities:

• Manage the daily operations of the Pre-Owned Vehicle Sales Department
• Lead, motivate, and develop the sales team to achieve sales targets
• Drive departmental profitability and maximise gross profit
• Manage used vehicle stock, pricing, ageing, and vehicle sourcing
• Monitor sales performance and prepare regular management reports
• Ensure excellent customer service throughout the sales process
• Work closely with the F&I department to maximise finance and insurance opportunities
• Ensure all dealership policies and manufacturer standards are followed
• Assist with resolving customer queries and handling escalated complaints
• Recruit, coach, and mentor sales staff where required
• Monitor market trends and competitor activity to remain competitive
• Maintain accurate sales records and departmental administration

• Matric (Grade 12)
• Minimum 3–5 years' experience as a Pre-Owned Car Sales Manager within a franchised passenger vehicle dealership
• Proven track record of achieving sales and profitability targets
• Strong leadership and people management skills
• Experience in used vehicle stock management and vehicle sourcing
• Sound knowledge of vehicle finance, F&I processes, and dealership operations
• Computer literate with experience using a dealer management system
• Valid driver's licence
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer service skills
• Stable employment record with contactable references
