They are seeking a proactive and experienced SHE Officer to drive compliance, promote a strong safety culture, and support continuous improvement across their operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement, monitor, and maintain SHE policies, systems, procedures, and legal compliance requirements across the site.
• Conduct SHE audits, risk assessments, incident investigations, inspections, training, and corrective action follow-ups.
• Coordinate environmental, emergency preparedness, occupational hygiene, security, hygiene, and compliance initiatives while ensuring accurate SHE reporting.

• Matric certificate.
• SAMTRAC qualification advantageous.
• SO 45001 Implementation and/or Internal Auditor certification.
• In-depth knowledge of the Occupational Health and Safety Act (Act 85 of 1993).
• Safety Management (NADSAM), Environmental Health, or equivalent qualification advantageous.
• Training in Incident Investigation, Risk Assessment, and Root Cause Analysis.
• COIDA experience.
• FMCG industry experience.
• Demonstrated practical experience in Safety, Health, and Environmental risk management.

• Strong communication, relationship-building, and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and computer skills with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work under pressure, manage priorities, and drive compliance initiatives effectively.
