Senior Java 11+ Developer (with BPM) LW

Translate detailed solution designs into robust, scalable, and maintainable software implementations.

Develop and configure workflow automation solutions using IBM BPM / BAW or Camunda platforms.

Design, model, deploy, and maintain BPMN and DMN workflows.

Build and support workflow orchestration, automation services, and process integrations.

Develop Java-based applications and microservices using Spring Boot and REST APIs.

Design and implement external task workers and workflow integrations.

Handle incident management, workflow monitoring, and deployment support across environments.

Integrate workflow solutions with custom front-end applications and enterprise platforms.

Publish and consume events using Kafka or Confluent to support event-driven architectures.

Analyse business processes and identify opportunities for workflow optimisation and automation.

Contribute toward AI-enabled workflow optimisation initiatives and intelligent decision automation.

Participate in functional, integration, and performance testing activities.

Support CI/CD implementation and deployment pipelines.

Collaborate with Business Analysts, Architects, Product Owners, and Engineering teams.

Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior and intermediate software developers.

Ensure development aligns with banking governance, security, and best practice standards.

Minimum Requirements:

Education:

Matric + Diploma / Degree in IT.

Minimum 5 years of practical experience in business process analysis.

Minimum 5+ years of software development experience with:

• Java 11+, Springboot, Rest API, JSON, Microservices,
  
• Kafka, Confluent,
  
• Git, Pipelines, AzureDevOps,
  
• Functional Testing, Integration Testing, and performance testing.
