Role Overview:

Social Media Content Creator Jobs in Lusaka Reporting directly to the Sales Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for crafting and managing compelling digital content across multiple platforms including Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and X.

This role goes beyond simple posting — it requires identifying trends, telling captivating stories, producing visually appealing media, and leveraging audience insights to optimize content performance. You will maintain a consistent and professional brand identity while supporting marketing campaigns, product launches, and promotional activities.

Key Responsibilities Develop and implement engaging social media content aligned with company branding and marketing goals. Create high-quality photos, videos, graphics, Reels, Stories, captions, and other digital assets.

Manage and update the company’s social media platforms regularly. Maintain weekly and monthly content calendars to ensure consistent posting schedules.

Research and apply current social media trends, hashtags, and emerging content formats. Write captivating captions, headlines, and promotional copy.

Film, edit, and publish short-form videos optimized for TikTok, Instagram Reels, and Facebook. Coordinate photography and video shoots as necessary.

Ensure all content adheres to brand guidelines and quality standards. Monitor and respond to audience engagement including comments, messages, and mentions professionally and promptly.

Analyze social media metrics and prepare regular performance reports. Use analytics insights to refine and improve future content and campaigns.

Collaborate closely with Marketing, Sales, Design, and other teams to support company initiatives. Stay up to date with platform changes, algorithm updates, and best practices.

Qualifications and Skills Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Marketing, Media, Journalism, Communications, or related fields. Proven experience in social media content creation or digital marketing roles.

Strong photography and videography skills with proficiency in tools such as Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, CapCut, or similar. Excellent verbal and written communication, with strong copywriting and storytelling abilities.

Good understanding of major social media platforms and their audiences. Familiarity with social media analytics and performance measurement tools.

Ability to quickly identify and respond to social media trends. Exceptional attention to detail and visual presentation skills.

Strong organizational and time-management capabilities. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.

Preferred Additional Skills Experience managing social media accounts for established brands or businesses. Proficiency in creating engaging short-form video content.

Basic knowledge of digital advertising and paid social media campaigns. Experience in photography, videography, and video editing.

Understanding of SEO and digital marketing principles. Confidence and willingness to appear on camera when needed.
