Systems Administrator [CompTIA A+, CompTIA Network+, Linux LPIC‑1]

Key Responsibilities

• Deploy, configure, and maintain servers, virtual machines, and web platforms
• Monitor system health, backups, capacity, and performance
• Implement patches, updates, and security controls
• Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure, performance, and access issues
• Support disaster recovery, data restoration, and backup systems
• Collaborate with Network Administrators and IT Support teams
• Maintain system documentation, licences, and configurations
• Perform basic infrastructure and UPS operational checks

Minimum Requirements

• Matric
• CompTIA A+ and Network+
• Linux LPIC‑1
• Minimum 4 years’ experience in IT Support/System Administration in a medium to large corporate environment
• Hands‑on experience with server hardware (Dell/HP preferred)

Advantageous

• VMware certification
• MCSE
• Experience with Windows Server 2016–2019, Hyper‑V, Linux infrastructure, and networking

Skills & Attributes

• Knowledge of backup, recovery, and security best practices
• Good scripting ability
