Responsibilities:
- Establish and meet Company annual sales quotas and revenue goals
- Daily contact with new and existing clientele
- Continual customer relationship development and lead follow-up
- Prepare sales proposals regarding technical products & services coupled with preparing quotes, pump selection,
- Create and deliver technical presentations
- Review sales inquiries; including a detailed technical specification review. Closing sales contracts
- Initiate and follow-up with customers before, during and after the sale
- Maintain up-to-date data entry into the company database
- Coordinates and follows up with applicable company departments to assure sales job and/or duties are carried out smoothly
- Mak weekly and Monthly sales report to management
- Travel on a routine basis to meet with customers and company representatives
- Maintain up-to-date awareness and understanding of industry trends, technical developments, and government regulations that affect target markets
Requirements:
- A bachelor of science degree in engineering or mechanical is preferred.
- A minimum of 4 years’ technical and sales experience with centrifugal/borehole pumps.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, including formal presentation skills before both small and large groups
- Demonstrate ability in problem-solving and negotiation with special emphasis on closing the sale
- Ability to work under pressure
- Basic Knowledg of pump selection and sizing
- Proficient in MS Office software, MS Excel, PowerPoint and Word
- Excellent oral/written communication skills, as well as personal appearance
- Well-developed presentation skills
- Excellent customer relations skills
- Availability to travel at least 30% of the time
- Must be detail-oriented and pay close attention to accuracy
- Ability to properly handle confidential information and records
- Ability to effectively establish rapport, present information and respond to questions from managers, customers and the general public
- Skill and ability to organize & prioritize work and meet deadlines
Remuneration: NGN 1 million – 1.5 million (inclusive of transportation and communication allowance)
