Duties and Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will be responsible for the management, coordination, and performance of all pipeline construction, maintenance, shutdown, and repair activities. This role requires a strong technical and operational leader with extensive pipeline industry experience within petrochemical, oil & gas, or heavy industrial environments.
  • Lead and manage all pipeline operations and projects
  • Oversee project planning, execution, productivity, and operational performance
  • Manage pipeline construction, maintenance, shutdown, and repair activities
  • Ensure compliance with client specifications, company procedures, and industry standards
  • Manage manpower, equipment, subcontractors, and operational resources
  • Drive safety, quality, and productivity across all sites
  • Monitor project costs, commercial performance, and operational efficiencies
  • Support tendering, planning, and project execution strategies
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships
  • Ensure proper reporting, project controls, and operational communication
  • Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to pipeline personnel

Minimum Qualifications:

  • National Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related technical field
  • Relevant trade qualification with extensive pipeline industry management experience
  • Project Management qualification advantageous
  • Relevant safety certifications and industry training advantageous

Experience Requirements:

  • Minimum 10 years' experience within the pipeline industry
  • Proven experience managing pipeline construction, maintenance, shutdown, and repair projects
  • Strong technical understanding of welding, fabrication, hot tapping, and pipeline maintenance activities
  • Demonstrated experience managing operational teams, supervisors, and multiple project sites
  • Experience within petrochemical, oil & gas, or heavy industrial environments
