Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine inspections of raw materials, in-process items, and finished products
- Monitor production processes to ensure adherence to quality standards
- Identify defects, deviations, and non-conformities, and report findings promptly
- Implement quality control procedures and maintain documentation
- Collaborate with production teams to improve product quality and efficiency
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and regulatory standards
- Perform tests and record data for analysis and reporting
- Assist in developing and reviewing quality control policies and procedures
- Participate in audits and support continuous improvement initiatives
Requirements:
- A minimum of an HND in a relevant field (e.g., Food Science, Microbiology, Industrial Chemistry, Engineering, or related discipline)
- A minimum of 2–3 years of proven experience in quality control or assurance
- Strong knowledge of quality control standards and testing methodologies
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements and safety standards
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word)
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Experience in FMCG, manufacturing, or agricultural production
