Job Title: Training Specialist / Store Trainer

Location:​ Lusaka, Zambia

1. Core Mission

To build a high-performing local team by delivering standardized training on beverage making, customer service, and food safety. You will ensure every store in Lusaka operates with consistent quality and service standards.

2. Key Responsibilities

• New Hire Onboarding:​ Conduct induction for all new recruits (baristas, servers, cleaners) on company culture, policies, and basic job skills.
• Product Mastery:​ Train staff on standard recipes, milk tea brewing, coffee extraction, and hygiene protocols. Ensure every cup meets the brand's taste standard.
• Skill Assessment:​ Conduct monthly skill audits (practical tests) at stores. Identify skill gaps and provide "re-training" to underperforming staff.
• Localization:​ Translate complex technical terms into simple English or local languages (Nyanja/Bemba) to ensure local staff understand instructions clearly.
• SOP Implementation:​ Assist the Operations Manager in rolling out Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) across all outlets.

3. Requirements

• Education:​ Diploma or Degree in Hospitality, Food Science, or related field.
• Experience:
• Minimum 2 years​ of training experience in F&B (Coffee, Bubble Tea, or Fast Food).
• Must have​ experience training local African staff. Experience with international chains (e.g., KFC, Java House, Pizza Hut) is a huge plus.
• Language:​ Fluent in English. Ability to speak Nyanja or Bemba​ is highly preferred.
