Enrolled Nurse – Intensive Care Unit (ICU)

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide quality nursing care to critically ill patients under the supervision of a Professional Nurse.
• Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes in their condition promptly.
• Assist with patient care, specialised procedures, and the operation of ICU equipment within the scope of practice.
• Administer medications and treatments as delegated and within the scope of practice.
• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure confidentiality.
• Adhere to infection prevention and control measures, quality standards, and patient safety protocols.
• Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary healthcare team to ensure optimal patient care.

• Registered as an Enrolled Nurse with the relevant Nursing Council.
• Approximately 2 years' experience working in an Intensive Care Unit (ICU).
• Sound knowledge of ICU nursing practices and patient care.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a high-pressure environment.
• Willingness to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
