Key Responsibilities:
- Provide quality nursing care to critically ill patients under the supervision of a Professional Nurse.
- Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes in their condition promptly.
- Assist with patient care, specialised procedures, and the operation of ICU equipment within the scope of practice.
- Administer medications and treatments as delegated and within the scope of practice.
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure confidentiality.
- Adhere to infection prevention and control measures, quality standards, and patient safety protocols.
- Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary healthcare team to ensure optimal patient care.
Minimum Requirements:- Registered as an Enrolled Nurse with the relevant Nursing Council.
- Approximately 2 years' experience working in an Intensive Care Unit (ICU).
- Sound knowledge of ICU nursing practices and patient care.
- Strong communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a high-pressure environment.
- Willingness to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
