Key Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day operational and administrative support to Medical Consultants.
  • Coordinate and confirm locum bookings across client booking platforms.
  • Verify candidate compliance and eligibility before confirming bookings.
  • Contact and schedule healthcare professionals for available shifts, including urgent and short-notice placements.
  • Confirm attendance with client facilities and ensure booking accuracy.
  • Maintain regular communication with healthcare professionals to update availability, contact details, and assignment interest.
  • Liaise with client facilities to identify current and upcoming staffing requirements.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for assigned client portfolios when Medical Consultants are unavailable.
  • Assist with payroll-related administration, timesheet follow-ups, and booking documentation.
  • Add and maintain candidates on relevant communication platforms, including WhatsApp groups and client systems.
  • Support Medical Consultants during client visits, events, and handovers when required.
  • Ensure all communication is accurately recorded and conducted through the appropriate systems.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality of all candidate, client, and company information.
  • Perform additional operational duties as required to support business needs.
Minimum Requirements
  • Matric (Grade 12).
  • Minimum of 2 - 3 years call centre experience (outbound) OR a minimum of 1 - 2 years previous experience in administration, customer service, recruitment support, healthcare staffing, or a similar coordination role 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and computer-based systems.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team.
  • Professional, customer-focused approach with excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Willingness to provide operational support outside standard office hours when required.
