Key Responsibilities:
- Provide quality nursing care to trauma and emergency patients under the supervision of a Professional Nurse.
- Monitor patients' vital signs and promptly report any changes in their condition.
- Assist with emergency procedures, patient stabilisation, and trauma resuscitation.
- Administer medications and treatments within the scope of practice.
- Ensure accurate documentation of patient care and maintain confidentiality.
- Adhere to infection prevention and control measures, quality standards, and patient safety protocols.
- Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to deliver excellent patient care.
Minimum Requirements:- Registered as an Enrolled Nurse with the relevant Nursing Council - SANC.
- Approximately 2 years' experience in a Trauma Unit or Emergency Department.
- Sound knowledge of trauma nursing and emergency patient care.
- Strong communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to remain calm and perform effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- Willingness to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
