Enrolled Nurse – Trauma Unit

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide quality nursing care to trauma and emergency patients under the supervision of a Professional Nurse.
• Monitor patients' vital signs and promptly report any changes in their condition.
• Assist with emergency procedures, patient stabilisation, and trauma resuscitation.
• Administer medications and treatments within the scope of practice.
• Ensure accurate documentation of patient care and maintain confidentiality.
• Adhere to infection prevention and control measures, quality standards, and patient safety protocols.
• Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to deliver excellent patient care.

• Registered as an Enrolled Nurse with the relevant Nursing Council - SANC.
• Approximately 2 years' experience in a Trauma Unit or Emergency Department.
• Sound knowledge of trauma nursing and emergency patient care.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to remain calm and perform effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
• Willingness to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
